Intel I3, I5 and I7 Processors

Equipped with a built-in dual-channel controller DDR3-1066 / 1333 RAM with voltage up to 1.6 V. The modules designed for higher voltage, will not work with this chip and can even damage it.
Equipped with built-in controller PCI Express 2.0 x16, thanks to which the graphics accelerator can be connected directly to the processor. In models with integrated graphics core GMA HD chip can be connected to one graphics card in x16 mode, in models without integrated graphics – two graphics cards in x8 mode each.

i7 (Bloomfield, Lynnfield and Gulf town) – four or six-latest-generation processor for high-end desktop computers. First introduced in November 2008. Bloomfield and Lynnfield Quad-core is made on 45-nanometer technology, six-core Lynnfield – on 32-nm technology.
Available in two versions: 9xx series (for socket LGA1366) with built-in three-channel memory controller and QPI bus and 8xx series (for the LGA1156 socket) c dual-channel memory controller, integrated PCI Express 2.0 controller and DMI bus) Supported RAM DDR3-1066 / 1333 with voltage up to 1.6 V. The modules designed for higher voltage, will not work with this chip and can even damage it.
Processors for LGA1366 socket equipped with a high-speed bus QPI, clocked at 2.4 GHz (up to 4.8 GB / s) in conventional and i7 at 3.2 GHz (6.4 GB / s) in the Extreme modifications (these include i7-965, i7-975 and i7-980X.
